After all, this is France...
Epcot at Walt Disney World features a plethora of pavilions in its World Showcase that pay homage to specific countries. That Eiffel Tower in the distance? If you said “France” then congratulations, you’re a winner.

Five Guys Burgers
I am sad to call anyone a liar, but I’m doing just that with the thousands of fellow Hoosiers who supposedly voted Five Guys Burgers and Fries “best French fries” in our city. Those fat, greasy things? I quit ordering them many trips ago, and am not even tempted to snag one off my husband’s side of the table.
That statement holds a lot of weight, of course,... Read more »

I went into my most recent vacation (an Alaskan cruise with my whole family) with the intent of taking a ton of video footage, so that I could return and begin honing my video-editing skills. The result was a video of the sights and sounds of Seattle (at the end of this post), and this [...] Read More →

In my tourism training hat, people often ask me about the utility of location-based services like Gowalla and Foursquare.
Here’s an example of why they’re so handy….
I was speaking in Houston at the TFEA (Texas Festivals and Events Association) annual conference, and I needed a quick meal near the hotel. It was a rather ritzy area – at one point I tweeted, “I’m... Read more »
